Kesari Fleury

Kesari Fleury

Prior to her career in landscape architecture, Kesari worked as an avant-garde florist, arranging natural and unnatural elements in juxtaposition. She hopes to challenge how we perceive and relate to the natural world by exploring ideas around culturally defined distinctions of beauty, ugliness, and what is considered natural or unnatural. Combining her design interests with her commitment to social equity and community building, Kesari aspires to create a polyphony of social, cultural, and natural elements.

Kesari Fleury holds a BA in Environmental Policy with a minor in Political Science and Music from Warren Wilson College. She is a David Bruton, Jr. Fellow at the University of Texas at Austin.
