Cleveland OH | Completed 2008 | Architect: NBBJ
The Cleveland Clinic main entry allee was completed in 2008 in conjunction with the new Heart Center. Six reflecting pools populated with 300 granite boulders and 398 columnar Liriodendron tulipifera ‘Arnold’ trees provide a meditative arrival space that quietly marks seasonal change. Water silently cascades over the edge of an 80 foot diameter pool made of two clear acrylic circles and granite cobbles at the circular arrival court in front of the main entrance. The Heart Center and Allee was the first project completed as part of the Cleveland Clinic Masterplan. Work completed with PWP Landscape Architecture.
