Fayetteville AR | 2016-present | Architect: Marlon Blackwell Architects
Sited on less then one acre in close proximity to its neighbors, the architecture of this residence turns inwards. A central courtyard, surrounded by glass on three sides and an open air “porch” on the fourth, is designed with minimal means for maximum effect. Water provides sensory delight while plantings mark the change of seasons. An existing woodland edge to the south of the residence is cleared of invasive species and enhanced with understory planting to provide views from the courtyard.
