We are thrilled to be part of this timely issue from PennDesign’s LA+ Interdisciplinary Journal of Landscape Architecture. Contributors were invited to “consider the relationship between design and the evolving landscape of risk; to explore the ways in which risk shapes our behavior and impacts our experiences of designed environments.” Thomas Oles and Phoebe Lickwar’s provocation What Doesn’t Kill You asks whether we have seen the end of risk-taking in design education. LA+ RISK is edited by Tatum Hands, Billy Fleming, and Richard Weller. More information about the publication can be found here.
